Aufgaben und Anforderungen: Senior Operations Manager (m/f/d) bei CTDI Alsdorf GmbH
CTDI is a full service, global engineering, repair and logistics Company providing best cost solutions to many of the world's premier brands. We support the entire product life cycle, from original design input, pre-sales testing, local customization and configuration through to our field support activities that include technical assistance as well as product repair, replacement and refurbishment programs.
The business in CTDI Alsdorf GmbH is related to forward Logistics including deployment of Payment Terminals for one of the major Brands in the Fintech Industry. For the demanding role of the Branch Manager, the company is looking for a candidate with excellent leadership skills and a robust operations and technology services background.
Aufgaben
- Logistics & Fulfillment experience – experience and practical understanding of inbound, warehouse, picking, packing and outbound operations.
- People Management – experience in leading operational teams through Team Leaders / Supervisors.
- Shopfloor Management – comfortable being close to daily operations, supporting the team and solving operational issues.
- KPI & Productivity Management – understanding of productivity, quality, backlog, output and service levels.
- Workforce & Capacity Planning – ability to adjust staffing and resources to changing volumes and priorities.
- Cost & P&L Awareness – basic understanding of labor costs, overtime, budget and their impact on operational results.
- Continuous Improvement / 5S – practical approach to workplace organization, process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Problem Solving – ability to identify issues, find practical solutions and follow up on actions.
- Leadership & Communication – good communication skills, team-oriented leadership and ability to cooperate with other departments.
- Operational Systems – good working knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with WMS or similar systems.
- Lead productivity and margin improvement programs.
- Manages, mentors and motivates employees.
- Ensuring performance and quality according to customer requirements.
- On-site contact for customer.
- Responsible for all expense and financial performance related activity for the area of responsibility.
- Perform functions (such as Health & Safety) on site.
- Resources planning and personnel responsibility plus development of flexible workforce.
- Reporting to the Branch Manager.
